Christ died for our sins… He was buried… He rose again the third day – according to the Scriptures.

Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
ISAIAH 40:28

Recent event…

Thursday 15 September, 7:30 pm – annual meeting with Rev Colin Le Noury, general director of Prophetic Witness Movement International.

Report of Thursday evening…

This was an excellent meeting, well attended.  The ministry of Rev Colin Le Noury was much appreciated, with an in depth and deeply relevant study of several passages from Revelation.  His subject was the four women referred to through the prophetic Book and their true significance when correctly interpreting the Word of God.  The whole occasion was inspirational, with a sense of the presence of God and the Holy Spirit opening up the Word of Truth, which is (or should be) becoming more and more real to His people as the days of certain fulfilment draw ever closer.

The singing of “It may be at morn… Christ returneth! Hallelujah!…” at the close was exceptionally powerful and vibrant with expectation.

  1. A certain Jezebel is mentioned in the address of the Lord Jesus to the church at Thyatira, who represents the ongoing attempts originating in Satan to merge the false with the true in syncretism.  The state of the Christian testimony today shows how great the inroads have been in sowing confusion inside and outside the professing church.
  2. The woman clothed with the sun who brought forth the male Child in Rev 12.  Conclusively proved to refer to Israel, since the imagery of sun, moon and stars is taken directly from Joseph’s dream in Genesis 37.   (The Bible is consistently its own interpreter).  The Messiah (male Child) was of the Jews just as promised.  The future place for Israel to flee to for refuge in the tribulation was highlighted (vs 6 and 14).  Current developments in Israel with regard to the readiness for the temple and the setting up of the Sanhedrin for the first time in many centuries were highlighted as being especially significant pointers to the soon to come direct fulfilments of prophecy.
  3. The harlot of Rev 17, a woman sitting on a scarlet beast and arrayed in purple and scarlet, with the name written “Mystery, Babylon the great…” signifying the false one world religion that is to be set up in opposition to Christ and the gospel of the Kingdom.  Again we see signs in the present world heading exactly in this direction.
  4. The Lamb and His wife in Rev 19 – the Lord Jesus Christ and His true Church.   The glorious and certain hope that should be the present motivation in life and service for all true Christian believers.  While the church is in this world, the focus of the hope is on the ever imminent call of the Lord Jesus for all church age believers to meet Him in the air at the rapture (John 14, 1 Cor 15, 1 Thess 4 etc).
